4v4 Chula Vista Classic

Rules & Regulations

-Two 15 minute halves
-2 minute halftime
-All play is on the ground (no aerial play)
-Players may shoot from anywhere on the field except inside the marked goal area. *5x3 zone around each goal
-Players cannot touch the ball inside the marked goal area
*Penalty kick awarded for this infraction
-On fouls or handballs, defenders must keep 4 yards from ball on the restart
-Games can end in tie after regulation time (Regular play games)
-If tied after regulation for championship/title games
*4-minute overtime
*If still tied 2-minute overtime (2v2)
*If still tied 1v1 golden goal
-Win = 3 points
-Tie = 1 point

Rules & Regulations

1: Two 18 min halves. 3 min. half time.
2: Ball must remain on the ground at all times. Players may score from anywhere on the field.
3: Each team plays with field players and a goalkeeper.
4: No offsides rule.
5: Goalkeeper has a designated box area. Foul or handball in this area, by the defensive tea, will result in a penalty kick.
6: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie.
7: Regulations games ending in a tie, will remain a tie.
8: Championship games will go to a 5-minute overtime. If still tied after overtime, the game will be decided by a 2v2 (plus goalkeepers) golden goal.
9: Headers and slide tackles are allowed.
10: Tiebreakers are determined in the following order:
A: Head-to-head result
B: Goals against
C: Goals for
D: If still tied, it will be decided by 3 penalty kicks.
